Statements from applicants for Tribal Council Coordinator...
I, Rachel Lynn,
have served as your elected Tribal Council Coordinator. I strived and
accomplished to serve the Tribal Council in a professional manner by fulfilling
all duties which include ensuring the annual Council meeting be held, the
calling of special Council meetings, posting and publishing resolutions, notice
of meetings, introducing resolutions, maintaining the order of business at
meetings, ensuring meeting procedures are properly followed, the integrity of
voting at such meetings, ensuring the contents of proposed resolutions are
constitutional, accepting petitions for special meetings and most important
maintaining order at meetings. In additional, I am also completing the
archiving of public tribal documents so that tribal members can have access to
Tribal Council documents. Throughout my term, I have demonstrated that I
possess qualities of effectiveness, organizational skills, and fairness
critical to the position of the Tribal Council Coordinator. Thank you for
all your support and I ask for your continued support to remain the Coordinator
in serving all members of the Cheyenne
and Arapaho Tribes.

Jr. My maternal grandparents are the late Lucille Youngbull and the late John
Tyler Youngbull I. My Southern Cheyenne and
Lakota Rosebud Sioux tribe is from my grandmother. My Southern Arapaho and Cheyenne tribe is from my
grandfather. I currently work as an Administrative Assistant for the Tribal
Council Coordinator. I would like to take the opportunity to run for Tribal
Council Coordinator because I know the process to call and conduct Annual and
Special Tribal Council Meetings as outlined in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Constitution. I
ask for your vote at the upcoming October 4, 2008 Annual Tribal Council
Meeting. Help me to serve you.
